Hend Elatik

Hend Elatik is an Associate at FREEDIN & ROWELL LLP and a member of the firm's Family Law group. Prior to joining FREEDIN & ROWELL LLP, Hend practiced Family Law in a boutique law firm in Oakville.

She represents clients in the Ontario Court of Justice and Superior Court of Justice, on all matters relating to divorce, parenting issues, child and spousal support issues, and division of property.

Hend earned her law degree from a prestigious university in Egypt in 2007, where she laid the foundation for her legal career. She then obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Osgoode Hall Law School in Canada and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2022.

Before relocating to Canada, Hend accumulated significant legal experience in Egypt. She initially served as an in-house lawyer for almost three years, providing legal counsel within a corporate environment. Following this, she transitioned to a governmental role as a prosecutor, where she dedicated six years to upholding the law and ensuring justice.

Outside of the office, Hend enjoys spending quality time with her small family, attending concerts and doing jigsaw puzzles. She is also passionate about staying active through exercise and running.
